Spirituality and Money Mindset for Lightworkers

The idea that money and spirituality can’t co-exist has been around for centuries. You have probably asked yourself at some point is it wrong to charge money for my spiritual services? Should spiritual people really get paid for their gifts? Can money and spirituality really go hand in hand?

In the past whether you were a medium, an energy healer, a spiritual teacher or master your skills and talents were often seen as a gift and not something you should charge for.

In today’s society the fact that these questions are continuously rising suggests that we are starting to doubt and perhaps even question what we have been taught in the past around spirituality and money.

My journey with Spirituality and Money

When my passion and love for spirituality grew into a soul-based business I really struggled with charging for my services. I believed my spiritual work should be for free and that it was wrong to charge for my spiritual work.

The thought of adding a cost to my services, selling and marketing my products sent me into a frenzy and it was actually one of the many things that actually held me back from starting my spiritual business.

I soon realised that I wasn’t alone in my thinking. The relationship between spirituality and money is a challenge for many Lightworkers and Spiritual Entrepreneurs, which is why I want to offer you 3 incredible mindset shifts that will help you as a Lightworker.

These powerful shifts will help you understand why money and spirituality CAN co-exist and in fact… why they are highly compatible. Are you ready?

3 Mindset Shifts Towards Spirituality and Money:

 

1. You are part of universal law. 

There is a beautiful universal law of giving and receiving. What we give we receive. What we give out we get back. These expressions are a great reminder of this universal law at play.

As Lightworkers we often struggle with being on the ‘receiving’ end of this universal law. We are often in the giving mode and never really in the receiving mode. We enjoy being the giver, we love to share and we get so much fulfilment from helping others.

Yet what we often forget is that money is an incredible spiritual tool because it allows us as spiritual beings living out a human experience to play out these roles of the giver and the receiver.

Money is a neutral energy. It is neither good nor bad. It is an energetic exchange that is in the hands of the beholder. Money allows the recipient to give back and it allows the receiver to feel rewarded.

It is important for all of us to be in the receiving mode and in the giving mode in order to be part of this universal law.

More often than not many people want to offer an exchange for the services they receive and money is the easiest way to do so.

However, by refusing to be rewarded for your services you are denying others the opportunity to give back. You are denying others the opportunity to be the giver, to express their gratitude and appreciation…which is an incredible high vibrational feeling that allows us to radiate and become part of the ripple effect all around.

2. You get to make a large impact in the world.

When you charge for your services you have more time, energy and resources to help more people in the world. You get to quit your day job and live out your spiritual purpose full time.

We want to help as many people as possible because we know our services have the power to change lives. However, by not charging for our services we simply cannot reach as many people as we desire. We can’t make that large impact in the world.

If you challenged your relationship towards spirituality and money and felt comfortable charging for your services (which remember people are happy to pay for) imagine what good you can do for so many others? Imagine the impact you can make in the world?

How would you feel if your local coffee shop was continuously closed most of the time because the owner was not charging for their services and had to be elsewhere in another job in order to make money? You would miss out on something that brought you so much joy and that you were simply happy to pay for.

By denying yourself the opportunity to receive money for your spiritual gifts you are putting yourself off limits to the people who need your services the most.

Remember as much as we want to give, give, give and serve, serve, serve there will always be a limit on how much we can do that – and that certainly doesn’t feel good for anybody.

Having the foundational income through your spiritual gifts allows you to be doing the work you are meant to do in the world, enabling you to have more time to provide free services like blogs, podcasts, workshops and events.

3. You get to live out your spiritual purpose and grow as a soul.

As a beautiful soul that has come here with a soul mission you deserve to live out your soul’s purpose. Your soul has embarked upon an incredible journey, travelled through time and space to be here for a specific reason…in this exact moment in reality with these exact gifts and talents.

Your gifts, talents and skills are not an accident. They are yours for a reason. You owe it to yourself to make your soul’s purpose your full time role and position, to embark upon it and fulfil it and for it not to be just a hobby or passion on the side.

Abundance is your birthright!

As a Lightworker you have come here to spread love, light and healing across the planet. Spirituality is not just a way of life, it is life. We are constantly learning new things and developing our skills and practices as spiritual leaders, enriching our soul’s calling. Sharing our gifts, message and teachings with the world will help enrich others lives, help people grow, transform and heal.

Spirituality and Money – A New Paradigm

I believe we’re part of a new era that is all about redefining what it means to be a Lightworker. What it means to truly live out your spiritual purpose. What it means to heal our relationship with money and claim back our power and self worth. To finally break free from past beliefs and expectations.

What I have discovered through my own journey around spirituality and money and also through working with other Lightworkers is that quite often it is our own blocks and feelings toward receiving money that is the deeper issue at play, our own perception of how we define money and the meaning we attach to it. Understanding that money is an energetic exchange transformed my mindset towards spirituality and money.

This outdated historical conditioning of not being able to charge for your spiritual services is a thing of the past. It is time for a new modern mindset and simple shift in consciousness. It is time to let go of an old lineage that is no longer serving us.

It’s time to step into the work and the creations that you came here do and to do it in a sustainable way that allows you to feel prosperous and abundant which in turn spreads prosperity and abundance across the planet. It is time to shine your light and embrace your gifts and get paid for doing so!
